We're always looking to give you the best service possible, with a goal of completing your warrantable service repairs within 7-10 business days after we receive and confirm your warranty eligibility and inspected your warranty request.

We like to handle things as quickly as possible for you. So, we ask that you please submit your warranty claim only when you can be available for an initial inspection within 2-3 business days after your submission and available for a full day for warranty service within the following 7-10 business days.

Surely, your home is likely to be your greatest investment, and you may consult with a third-party inspector to inspect your home prior to your warranty expiration. We're happy to discuss the findings of your third-party inspection report with you; however we do not accept third-party inspection reports. Home inspection reports often point out homeowner maintenance items, suggestions, and recommendations that aren't a part of your home's warranty. We recommend you review your third-party report for warrantable items, and only submit those items on your warranty request. Your homeowner's manual is always a great resource for further details regarding your warranties.

Knowing Your Home Warranty.

In general, your warranty is our commitment to you that materials and workmanship are warrantied for one year from the time of closing; components of the major mechanical systems such as heating, air conditioning, electrical and plumbing are warrantied for two years from closing; and structural elements of the home are warrantied for ten years from closing. Many appliances, equipment and other components included in the home are not warrantied by us, but are warrantied directly by the manufacturer or supplier at the time of closing.

Also, for a full understanding of needs and your responsibilities when it comes to care, upkeep and preventative maintenance of your new Meritage home, we recommend referring to your Homeowner's Manual. Any neglect or failure to follow the recommended care or maintenance of your home may result in damage to your home or the property of others, and we can't be held responsible.
