At Meritage Homes, health has always been a top priority – in how we build our homes, how we maintain our communities, how we care for our team members and how we interact with our trade partners and customers. 
 
During this unsettling time, I would like to assure you that providing a safe and healthy environment for our customers and team members is our top priority.
 
Meritage Homes is closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with guidance from local and U.S. government and public health agencies. With the ongoing spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the incredible speed at which things are changing around us, we are continually adapting our operations and business. We will adjust our policies where necessary to do our part to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.  
 
Effective Friday, March 27, 2020, we have implemented an “appointment-only” sales policy for all of our Meritage communities nationwide. For your safety and ours, we encourage you to schedule an appointment to visit a community through our inside sales team at 1-877-ASK-MERITAGE. This will help us to create social distancing by not having multiple people in our sales offices, models and inventory homes at once. We also offer a completely virtual homebuying experience for those who prefer to tour, finance and purchase their home remotely at meritagehomes.com and MTHMortgage.com. 

As standard operating procedure, we clean and sanitize our design centers, sales offices and model homes. We have also increased the frequency and extent of our cleaning process to ensure you are safe when you come to visit us. 
 
Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that anyone who has symptoms of Covid-19 or who has been exposed to anyone with Covid-19 defer visiting our communities in person until at least 14 days after being cleared consistent with CDC guidelines. In the interim, be sure to check out and take advantage of our virtual homebuying experience. We are also here for you by phone, email or online at meritagehomes.com.

We are currently providing warranty service to our homeowners on an emergency only basis. Homeowners should continue to submit warranty tickets through our warranty portal at https://meritagehomes.force.com/homebuyersportal/MyMeritage

Taking care of our employees is also of the utmost importance. We have provided our team members updated information on how to stay healthy and reiterated our policy that they must stay home if they are exhibiting symptoms or have been in contact with anyone exposed to the virus. We are postponing our community events and have put a moratorium on non-essential travel. In short, we are doing everything we can to ensure your safety and the safety of our team members.
