Agent Finder Information and Set Up Support
As a Diamond Agent in Meritage Homes’ Agents Rock Rewards, you’ve earned a place on the upgraded Agent Finder – a smarter, easier way for unrepresented buyers to connect with you and help grow your business.
To be part of the Agent Finder, you'll need to Build your Public Profile
By selecting “Yes” to the “List my profile on the Find an Agent directory” prompt at the top of your Portal’s Public Profile page, you are formally consenting to be included in the Agent Finder. By customizing your Public Profile, you can market yourself to highly motivated prospective clients through the Meritage Homes website. You can add details including:
- Preferred Name
- Headshot
- Professional Bio
- Link to your Brokerage or Personal Website
- Links to up to 4 Social Media Profiles
- Languages Spoken
- Years of Experience
- Professional Credentials
- Preferred Buyer Profile (First time buyer, move-up buyer, etc.)
- Preferred Contact method (Calls / Texts / Email)
Based on this provided information, our system matches you with prospective clients that fit your preferences and align with your business strategy.
Accessing your Pending Clients Dashboard
To review your pending client connection requests, click on the “Pending Clients” module from your Agents Rock Portal Homepage. From there, you can review the requesting client’s information such as:
- Name
- Contact Information
- Desired Moving Timeframe
- Self-identified Buyer Profile (First time buyer, move-up buyer, etc.)
- Desired Location details
- And more!
Based on this information, you can accept or decline client’s connection requests. You can also contact prospective clients with their provided information to pre-screen before accepting.
You have 24 hours to accept or decline a Connection Request before it expires. The Pending Clients dashboard provides a countdown timer to when the request expires to help you keep track of this timing. If you are not currently accepting clients or will be unable to respond within the 24 hour window for a period of time, you can hide your profile by toggling the option to list your profile in the directory to off on the Public Profile page in your Agents Rock Rewards Portal.
Upon accepting a Connection Request, the client’s information is automatically loaded to your “My Clients” dashboard.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an Agents Rock Rewards Portal account to be included on the Agent Finder?
Yes! Agents must have an Agents Rock Rewards Portal account and opt in via their Public Profile to be included. We recommend you fill out the information on the Public Profile page to market yourself to prospective clients.
Can I temporarily remove myself from the Agent Finder?
Yes! Agents can add/remove themselves from the Agent Finder tool by setting List my profile in the Find an Agent directory to no. This field is available at the top of your portal’s Public Profile page. Agents should temporarily remove themselves when they are unable to respond to connection requests within the 24-hour window (ex. while on vacation) and when they are not open to accepting new clients.
Do I have to accept the client within the Agents Rock Portal?
Yes, this triggers the formal acceptance email to the Buyer and allows Agents to easily view their new client’s information to their “client” profiles.
How can I edit the Brokerage that displays in my Public Profile (it’s not in the Public Profile tab)?
Agents can edit their brokerage from the “Personal Info” tab in their Agents Rock Rewards Portal.
Why do I only have 24 hours to respond to a connection request?
Our goal behind the Agent Finder Tool is to help our Agent partners level up their business, but we still want to protect our Buyer experience. Enforcing a 24-hour review window ensures someone (either the Agent or our Meritage sales team) reaches out to that buyer while we are still top of mind.
How can I remove myself from the Agent Finder?
Agents can remove themselves from the Agent Finder by setting List my profile in the Find an Agent directory to no on your Public Profile. If at any time you wish to rejoin the Agent Finder, change this setting back to yes.
